“John Raymond presents real strategies to deal with real issues. He has given me a new way of looking at issues and approaching problems which I believe make my world a better place.”

“As a coach and mentor John is outstanding. He is non-judgemental, caring, yet sufficiently detached to be objective when that is needed. He was always ready to challenge me when I made excuses or began to rationalise reasons for not completing the journey. His help was invaluable.”

— Roger

“I was experiencing stress and anxiety at work contributing to miscommunications between myself and my manager.

In the sessions, John explained the dynamics of relationships, personal and professional boundaries and gave me valuable coaching regarding communication skills.

These tools have been a great help in reducing my stress and improving communication, particularly giving me a better understanding of others' points of view and individual ways of approaching problem solving. As a result, I'm enjoying work more and being more productive.”

Retreats (2 and 3 day off site)

1. redshift essentials

A fun and highly interactive programme that is presented in three parts:

  1. Managing yourself is the first step. We raise your awareness and understanding of how your emotions, and the underlying meanings that create drive your behaviours. This serves to improve effectiveness by increasing behavioural flexibility.
  2. Interactions and relationships are next since we don't live in this world alone! Your personal and business success is determined by your ability to effectively (or not) relate and influence others to support you achieve your goals.
  3. The skills. An understanding is necessary although a tangible skillset is required to action this understanding. redshift works with your team's unique requirements to incorporate the most relevant skills into the training.

2. Activity Retreat

These retreats combine training in and out of the classroom leaving you physically and mentally invigorated:

  1. Using the experience of a physical activity to see, hear and feel how you manage yourself and interact with others. (just add some sweat to redshift Essentials) This awareness is then debriefed enabling you to integrate the lessons of the retreat back in the workplace.
  2. QUESTION: Why are some people more successful than others?
ANSWER: Because they have more effective success strategies. This retreat uses a combination of physical activity and classroom training to look at the process of “how” you make the choices you do. You will learn how to use redshift's results triangle to effectively learn from and be able to model other people's success.

3. Team Building based on Peer Feedback

This is a great programme for managers over a number of days that includes the following components:

  1. An online survey based on your values and relevant core competencies.
  2. A day of activity including feedback sessions (giving and receiving).
  3. Individual action plans
  4. A session to create common goals and an action plan for the team
  5. One-on-one coaching for all participants

Coaching can be an incredibly powerful tool to help you get clarity, find focus and gain traction to achieve your business and personal goals. redshift works in the specific niche within coaching based on our expertise in the area of emotions and relationships. In business, intelligence in these two areas is becoming a “must have” for management positions. 1. Define your business goals and objectives.
